Philip Tuppin: Director/Editor
Philip started his film making career at the age of ten and had his first serious effort shown on the BBC. (Unfortunately it was banned for being too scary for younger viewers.)
Subsequently he studied a Film & Photography BA in London. He then worked in theatre as a stage manager and ultimately moved into television; producing educational films and the highly acclaimed ‘Let’s Make News’ series for the Daily Mail Group.
Following this success he went freelance and made two award winning films in India for the Charity ActionAid. The first about the daily life of a boy growing up in a leper colony and the second looking at the lives of the natives of Tamil Nadu in Southern India.
In 1999 he established AP Multimedia which over a ten year period consistently produced outstanding work for councils, charities and schools.
In 2009 he began a new enterprise: Pinsharp Multimedia.
Philip has a partner Lynn with whom he has been for 21 years and two young sons.
